Accessories shopping in The Good Luck Issue.

The bigger the better

We don't know if the 80's are back, but if it depends on some collections for next spring/summer, the decade of excess and opulence will permeate our choices - at least in terms of accessories. The ultra-large earrings, XXL size, were seen in almost all the fashion shows, namely in Schiaparelli, where they were the great protagonists of Daniel Roseberry's proposals. The reader will say that they are not very practical, and we agree. However... why be "practical" when you can be the modern version of Cleopatra?

Run Forrest, run

By now we've realized that sneakers aren't going anywhere, aesthetically speaking. From dad sneakers to more retro styles, which had a resurgence with models like the Adidas Samba, that despite existing forever seem to have been born the day someone photographed them on Bella Hadid's feet, the most comfortable shoes in the world will remain in (thank heavens), they can be worn with everything and, amazingly, in almost any occasion. Since you ask: yes, Forrest Gump's Nike Cortez are also a trend.

Small wonders

The smaller the better. We never thought we'd write this, but some things only make sense if they're really, really small. Micro wallets, which appeared like a hurricane at the beginning of the decade, must be laughing at their biggest rivals, the "normal" sized wallets - who always saw them as a silly, passing trend. Although their space is so small that you have to question their reason for being, they remain as popular as that Le Chiquito, nano version, where you can't even fit a hologram of your house keys.

Abstractionism

"These shoes were made for contemplation." That's what you should think if you happen to feel a slight discomfort when walking on Portuguese sidewalk with any of these heels, designed to be in the museum of impossible objects. In recent seasons, led by Jonathan Anderson and the Broken Egg Sandals (which he created for Loewe), designers have decided to let their imaginations run wild and invent a new type of shoe, with totally unexpected shapes that are as abstract as they are surreal.
