Maggie Maurer, star of the fashion story Tic-tac, tic-tac, was also part of our previous issue dedicated to time, published in February 2018? The model, who is a namesake in the pages of Vogue Portugal, debuted in the publication with three distinct covers, coverlined Larger than Life, Time on Your Hands. Screen time

We'd hardly doubt if we were told that we spend 70% of our awake time in front of digital platforms. If you are closing an issue, then the time easily doubles (or more), especially if ones makes the smartphone a work tool and if it is connected to one's personal computer. We kicked off an informal survey within the members of the Vogue newsroom and found that the team spent, on average, about 30 hours a week in front of their phone screen, with the highest record having 54h44 and the most restrained one registering 7h05. Numbers that, without context, are nothing more than that. Because, like size, it's not the time that matters, it's what you do with it. What about yours? What is your screen time this week?

Fun Facts

If there's anything the Internet has, it's time to keep fun facts in its archives – and the theme that governs this issue is no exception. The thing to keep in mind is that this is always an estimate based on other averages and that it's not the rule for everyone - but still a collection of good enough ice breakers tio use as conversation starters.
