Third-person singular? No, first-person plural, because glitter never comes in packages of one, not even in one single shade.

Third-person singular? No, first-person plural, because glitter never comes in packages of one, let alone in one single shade. And by glitter, we also mean pigments, eyeshadows, strokes of a night that is still way too young. Usually, it implies a chromatic rainbow that lives within the most vibrant metallic spectrum that there is in the scale of Pantones, and it always forces us to use a “we”, as in, “we are going to celebrate all night long, open the eyeshadow palettes to that party-gold, eighties-blue, rave-pink…” And, as common sense would dictate, the verb “celebrate” is rarely conjugated without glitter. Just like in the next morning, that saves the memories of the makeup of the previous intensive partying. Photography by Alba Garcia. Makeup by Aida Carballo.
