On a day with me, anything can happen. Except when society doesn't let anything happen.
On a day with me, anything can happen. Except when society doesn't let anything happen.
When I can't be myself because of the dress code. When I can't be myself because "it doesn't look good", it's not "well regarded", "nobody does it". But on the days I'm with me, when anything can't happen, I don't feel like myself. So, do welcome the behaviors free of conditioning, as grand as my girl power. Sounds too dramatic? This was before I let myself be a mermaid. Too exaggerated? Only when they prevent me from using my umbrella like a top. Overly sensitive? I'm just sensitive to my imagination. Foolish is everyone else: I'm only living up to the silly season. And doing it on my own terms. Creative direction and photography by Martina Keenan. Styling by Barbara Vélez.
