They say the first Monday after the réveillon is the most depressing day of the year.

It's a pseudoscience that nominates this Monday as a sad day - both in weather and calendar terms, reserved for (re)starting, for self-analysis… and even though Blue Monday may be (very) far from confirmed, blue Mondays are whenever a woman wants them to be. It can be a sunny Tuesday or a rainy Friday; in January, June or October. It can be a full day or just a couple of hours, in the comfort of our home or in the midst of daily tasks. As long as we’re talking about that moment when we don’t feel like showing our face, and choose to hide under the clothes we love, those key pieces for “blue” days or the ones that simply reveal all – except what’s going through our minds.
