We got bridal, androgynous, pink, teenage cool and see-through. Take your pick.
Runaway Bride
No, you don't need to get married, or be engaged, to adhere to this trend. White dresses (and shoes, the wallets, the necklaces, the earrings...) have jumped from the altar to the street, and are now worn on any occasion. In extremis, even weddings.
Is it a woman? Is it a man?
Clothes are what we do with them. It has long been the case that the most important pieces of our closet, both coats and pants, are no longer "just for men" or "just for women." There is nothing more current than raiding your boyfriend's closet. And assuming the heist, with pride.
Pink is our new obsession
It was ignored for years, a victim of the vilest gossip - "it's too childish," "it has no personality." Fortunately that is a thing of the past because now few things can be as cool as pink. If there can possibly be a new black, this is it.
Teenage cool
Once upon a time there was a high school uniform, world famous for being boring and dull. Fashion took it and, in no time at all, turned it into something worthy of appearing on a Sex Pistols album cover. Preppy is fine, and is recommended.
I see through you
Risky necklines, slippery splits, translucent fabrics. This fall it won't be possible to hide secrets. At least through clothes. There is an air of seduction in the air that runs through most collections, where the most coveted looks have something in common: they are transparent.
