Vogue Special Limited Edition: The language of luxury

Nos dias 17, 18 e 19 de abril Lisboa recebeu a Conferência Condé Nast International Luxury que teve como tema A Linguagem do Luxo.

Porque gostamos de bem receber, fizemos questão de participar na organização do evento. Para além da diretora da revista Sofia Lucas ter sido uma das speakers, quisemos ainda assinalar a ocasião com uma edição especial da Vogue Portugal em jeito de homenagem à editora internacional da Vogue e anfitriã oficial do evento, Suzy Menkes. Distribuída em exclusivo aos convidados e participantes da conferência, speakers como Christian Louboutin, Felipe Oliveira Baptista, Hilary Swank, Maria Grazia Chiuri e Giambattista Valli puderam levar para casa uma edição que explora o novo significado do luxo e a forma em como ele está a mudar.

Desde entrevistas exclusivas a artigos centrados no tema do luxo, a revista conta com um projeto muito especial. Convidámos vários talentos emergentes dos mundos da Moda, Beleza e Fotografia a conceberem a sua própria visão da nova linguagem de luxo em forma de editorial e escolhemos treze para fazerem parte desta edição. Cada trabalho tem uma mensagem diferente, provando que definir hoje em dia a palavra luxo é um desafio complexo que merece ser contemplado. A boa notícia é que dos mil exemplares produzidos, quinhentos vão estar à venda (por 15 euros mais portes de envio).

A Vogue Portugal The Language of Luxury foi impressa num papel especial e fez parte de um dos eventos mais importantes do calendário anual da Moda. Esta é também uma edição dedicada a uma das maiores autoridades da Moda Internacional, Suzy Menkes, pelo seu trabalho revolucionário na indústria.

During the 17th, 18th and 19th of April, Lisbon received the Condé Nast International Luxury Conference, focusing on the Language of Luxury theme. 

Because we enjoy to well receive, we made sure we participated in the organization of the event. Besides having our editor in chief be one of the speakers, we wanted to mark the occasion with a very special issue of Vogue Portugal to honor the international editor of Vogue and official host of the event, Suzy Menkes. Distributed exclusively to guests and participants of the conference, speakers such as Christian Louboutin, Felipe Oliveira Baptista, Hilary Swank, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Giambattista Valli were able to take home an issue that explores the new meaning of luxury and how is it changing. 

From exclusive interviews to articles dedicated to the luxury theme, the magazine also worked on a very special project. We invited several emerging talents from areas such as photography, styling and beauty to conceive their own vision of what the new language of luxury is and produce an editorial that brings that vision to life. We chose thirteen editorials. Each with a different message, proving that defining luxury nowadays, is a complex but relevant exercise. The good news is that from the one thousand issues printed, we will be selling five hundred of them (for €15 plus mailing costs).
